Gabrielle Simard

Gabrielle is a professional dancer who has graduated from L'École de Danse Contemporaine de Montréal in 2013. She is passionate about the way humans can express themselves through movement and she shares her love for dance with others by pushing them to let go.

For her, dance is a transcendental way of expression.  A simple movement, no matter how small, can be a complete work of art on its own if it is deeply felt and executed with purpose. Her moves are inspired by the wild and instinctive behaviors of the human body. She believes dance allows you to constantly discover new aspects of yourself and others. It's a tool for connecting to your inner world and for communicating what's inside with the outer world.

José Flores

José is a professional dancer who has graduated from L'École de Danse Contemporaine de Montréal in 2017. He has always been curious about movement and basic  body language, such as someone's posture or hand gestures while speaking.

He strongly believes that movement runs in our blood, and that it's on us to give it the freedom to express itself through our bodies. By trusting the intelligence of our bodies, the possibilities become infinite. That's what inspires José when dancing or creating.

How they met

José and Gabrielle know each other from their similar journey at L'École de Danse Contemporaine de Montréal. It's at Tripoli Studios, where they both teach contemporary dance, that they truly discovered their strong connection. They decided to build their own collective, in order to explore their creativity and ideas with inspiring dancers who share their same vision.
